Remove
the IDE-cable
on the
back of
the DVD-drive.
IDE-cable
removed!
There
are 2
screws
on each
side of
the DVD-drive.
Unscrew
them with
a Torx10.
Left
side screw.
Rigthside
screw.
You
can now
remove
the DVD-drive
by lifting
the tray
upwards.
If something
is blocking
, check
the frontside
of the
xbox DVD-drive
and make
sure that
small
metalic
plate
isn't
screwing
up.
Remove
the yellow
powercable.
You can
do it
with your
hands
or if
it doesn't
work ,
try with
a screwdriver.
Make sure
you don't
screw
up thought.
This powercable
is Xbox
specific
you can't
replace
it easily.
You
have now
access
to the
whole
motherboard.
You can
disconnect
the IDE-cable
from the
motherboard
too if
you want.
You
have to
remove
the motherboard
from the
case if
you want
access
to the
back of
the motherboard.
All modchips
need this
, do you'll
have to
do this
, but
be carefull
!
Unscrew
these
11 screws
with a
Torx10.
You can
now take
out the
motherboard.
