The Xbox uses a file system called XDFS, and if your disc is not compiled correctly it simply will not boot. The best tool for the job is Qwix v1.01 from Team Avalaunch. Its the fastest and most compatible homebrew tool we've ever used for this job. Here is a quick and simple tutorial on how to create an XDFS iso from a dir of files. Download and install qwix from our downloads section, under pc tools - after you have it downloaded and installed, we need to launch another dashboard on your xbox (instead of Evox). The other dashboard is called Avalaunch (side note, i dont install this one by default as i dont like the way it sets things up).

To launch Avalaunch, go to "System Managment" from the main menu in Evox and hit select (on an xbox remote its select, on your controller is green)
go to the bottem of this list, and choose "Other Dashboards"
go down to Avaluanch and hit select.

This will load up another dashboard all together, you no longer need to use the xbox.

go back to your computer, and launch Qwix!

once qwix is load and ready to go, you should see a screen like this:

We need to first add your xbox to qwix, so it knows where it will be sending and receiving the applications to and from.

its is as simple as clicking add, then Auto-detect connections.

put a checkmark in next your connection and click ok

we are done the connection specific information, but we will need to change some of the default settings, like where it thinks games are stored on your xbox (if you have any)

click on the edit button next to add in the top right, and this screen will come up:

your information in the top of the screen will be filled in to your own settings (ie: the name of your xbox, and ip)

what we need to do now is add the games folder of your xbox to the list, click on add folder button:

Click the + next to the F: drive

then click on HDDLoader so it highlights and click ok
the final result should look like this.

remove the other folder (f:\Games) by click on it and click remove folder, and then click on HDDLoader and click Set Default

it should then look like this:

Click OK
